Default Russians are confident that gardening is prohibited in the US

I just came to this forum and want to check how translators from Russian work...
    -----
    But, nevertheless,
Russians are sure that Americans are very unhappy people,
since in America there is Private Property everywhere, and Americans cannot garden and gardening

    WoW???

I'm not certain if you believe that or are just baiting for an argument. We garden as much as we want. There is nothing better than fresh food from the garden. It's not prohibited at all. As for being happy, I am quite happy.

I'm very happy and had fresh tomatoes out of my garden today.

I don’t know if our tomatoes will ripen before the first freeze… We got a late start because of the drought.

51 right now, too cold for me…

I had cut these plants back around the end of June. They were done because of the heat. Most of them kept growing and have producing fruit for the last month or so. They really were/are an unexpected treat.

Then there are all the Americans that live in apartment blocks and have to buy their fruits and veggies at the grocer. I guess they might be pi$$ed off sometimes over the traffic and crowds but they are still eating well.

I did not plant a garden this year, but that was by choice, not lack of land to plant. I'm thinking about plowing everything up next year so I won't need to mow. My mower is wearing out but the tiller still works!
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

Goats. You need some goats. Meat, cheese and milk. Get a donkey to keep the vermin at bay.

    To kyratshooter....
"Then there are all the Americans that live in apartment blocks and have to buy their fruits and veggies at the grocer..."

    ------------------
    In addition....
    - the Russians are sure that Americans eat mainly “burgers and sandwiches with Coca-Cola at McDonald’s”...
    - Americans never pick mushrooms in the Forest, since all mushrooms are poisonous
    - And many, many other stereotypes and misconceptions between Russians and Americans

By the way, American lids for canning cucumbers or tomatoes are very different from Russian ones...

    MacDonalds…. yech….
Mushrooms… I’ll buy them. My woodcraft skills do not in any way cover the gathering and eating of wild mushrooms.
I hate Coke (the Company and the drink).
Tonight I had baked chicken, fresh greens, fresh salad and sweet potatos. It was good…
I love a good, lean, homemade hamburger.

I heard that in Texas... Americans mostly prefer Beef... (Of course, there are no mushrooms in the Texas Prairies)
