Hey Crash, have you traded the old white Chevy truck?

That old truck was proof that a Chevy half ton suspension was rated for 1/3 it's capacity!
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

Some great campers and huge tents. It's hard to camp in a small tent after being in a huge one, because as we all know, a 6 man tent is a two man tent unless those 6 guys are really, REALLY, close. You know, like spoons in the silverware drawer.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

Normally I will camp with just a hammock. When Mama comes along.....all the bells and whistles that I can muster.

Hammock is great as long as you have no weather or skeeters.

I will use the smallest tent that will hold what I need held because trying to heat a TajmaTent is a pain.
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.

The Tajma Tent (the green one) was to keep she who must be obeyed happy and wanting to camp more. This was the first time in my life I camped in a ten using the available power. Had a large ceramic heater and two electric blankets in it. The electric blankets were also a first. Stayed toasty warm.

I used to run with the bikers. These pop-ups are great. But, then, I have the advantage/disadvantage of being single.

Altoona and water. Let's see, it was similar but, flood relief in PA was different.
