    Default Here to learn

Hello everyone.. it's been quite a while since I've been on here. I had lots of life stuff happen but I have seemed to have it all worked out and am here again to try and learn everything I can. I know it's a little late but I'm trying. Just trying to figure out what I should start with first? Thank you all in advance for your suggestions..

There is a lot of good information at this site. What I do is go through the forums and read what interests me.

And this post seems to be a duplicate of the one and only original post from back in 2008???

14 years of a lot of life stuff happening to keep one off the internet!

Gives new meaning to being grounded from the computer by your mom.

Anyway, welcome back. Hope you can hang out for a while this time.
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

I noticed the first post in 2008 too. Hence the Groundhog Day reference...

But at least he's not a one and done poster...

Welcome back. As far as where to start...........do an honest assessment of what your needs are and then start working on them. Make the commitment to work on them, which may mean sacrificing in other areas (vacations, dining out, entertainment, etc).

I found it is a good idea to separate wants and needs.
In 2000, when I lived in SE NC there was a blizzard that unloaded roughly 3' of snow. The lady who lived nearby walked to my house and asked if could borrow a metal pot as all her cookware was glass. I loaned her a metal pot and coffee pot to use on her gas grill that I used for camping. I doubted she believed metal pots would ever be a need.

If you really want a tip, this site is a nice place to steal recipes.
I own some stuff, and I know some things. But that's all.
