I saw Mr. I_am_not_atf at a couple of forums I read.

Next would have been a link to his(?) survival food site.

I guess we'll never know. Spammers suck. They actually think they are provinding a service.....from their parents basement.

The internet has many unusual people. As the rock group the Doors once said People are strange....

One thing that I'm curious about is our ISP is Hughes satellite internet service.

When I go to Home Depot or Lowe's; they believe my location is near Salt Lake City, UT where Hughes net's downlink is located.

Every time I want to see if what I want is in stock; I must change my location. It's a pain. Even Amazon used to do the same. In addition, Amazon often requires me to prove where I am by sending me a text to my cell phone.
Other sites claim I'm located closer to NE Georgia, but not where I live.
A lot of site's staff have questioned me about my location. OTOH, Hughes net is better than no internet

Using IP addresses to determine a location is not always very accurate. This is especially true with sattelite or cell phone connections. Sometimes it uses the closest "business office" to determine the source.

I've noticed my location wanders a lot. However, when it is a business, I usually get the closest to where the downlink is located. If Hughes net is using Tennessee, I go to the closest Home Depot or Lowes.
