Default lanyard knot vs gaucho knot

The lanyard knot, on the left makes an attractive loop. The gaucho knot
on the right is similar but bulkier. It is trickier to tie but worth the effort.

I'm a gaucho myself but I can only do basic knots.
It will take some time, but I will learn at least a little about knots. There is nothing as boring as having to do something all over again because your knot undone itself!
I own some stuff, and I know some things. But that's all.

Just thinking the other day Asemery hasn't posted in a while. Guess you've been tied up. Glad to see your back and all is well.

I like for him to do a net making tutorial... I attempted a dip net the other day on my own. I know there are better ways than what I did....

I started my research on knots today, not because I wanted. But because I had to. There is always something tô do around the house when you have a day off and I don't have to work on weekends. So of course I have to find another kind of work
I own some stuff, and I know some things. But that's all.
