Thread: another gear question...

    Default another gear question...

Some say they carry dental floss instead of thread. Wouldn't fishing line such as spider wire be more versatile?

I carry a small but complete fishing kit: a pretty good length of line, some sinkers, hooks and a sewing kit.

Neither add much room or weight - so why not both?

I'm with T on this. Fishing line, thread and floss take up so little room that I carry all of them. For my fishing line and tread I use nails as a spool.

I carry floss, thread, fishing line and para cord. I'm looking for suspenders for my belt. I'm redundant about my redundancy.

I carry a small spool of deer sinew, strong and works great for sewing.

I usually have fishing line, a small sewing kit, and snare wire.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"
