My last two axes have had improper grinds. Unequal in the blade and haft. Have they gone china?

Still made in Illinois as far as I know.
My 18" Estwing ax was ground perfectly.
According to a bud who is a builder the only bad thing about an Estwing hammer is they vanish quickly at job sites.
Estwing is made in Rockford, Illinois. Rockford, by the way, has the highest unemployment and the highest crime in the state. It was also ranked as the 17th most dangerous city in the U.S. in December last year. Maybe who ever was grinding those axes were doing so from a duck and cover position.

Maybe the criminals don't go round messin with the guy sitting there grinding out axes and hatches all day long, just grindin and a sharpenin, yep, that's about sharp enough, ... come a little closer....
