Default Found these! Dont need them. PM

Was cleaning out the garage the other day and I found two of these. They are brand new and are in need of adoption. For G17.
A couple of days and these are banned. PM me for details.

I have cleaned out my garage, shop, attic, barns, etc... probably 1000s of times and I've never found anything remotely like that... I must be doing it all wrong...

Actually they are not "banned", they simply must be purchased through a licensed dealer.

In a hypothetical situation let's say you ordered one of those "devices" from this guy today, and he waited to ship it until Friday. It gets delivered next week.

The package is left on your porch after the final free transaction date, even though you purchased it prior to that date.

First of September the ATF shows up with UPS delivery records.

    Guess what?

I thougth that Brazil has stupid gun laws but you guys have it worse than we do. Here we can buy and sell used guns as much as we want as long as it's a legal gun with all the paperwork. My cousing "bougth" (traded, really) a gun from a woodworkerand and payed with a chainsaw.
I own some stuff, and I know some things. But that's all.

That varies from state to state. In my state, private sales between individuals is legal. What you can't do, and what the guy above was attempting, is ship a firearm across state lines between individuals.

Oh, my bad. I didn't understand at first. Shipping firearms is a hassle here too.

Rick, since the middle of last year private sales or transfers, nationwide, must go through an FFL. That was the first "loophole" Biden claims to have plugged.

It is not even legal to give your grandchild a gun for Christmas.

I'm not aware of any law or executive order on intra-state private sales or gifts. If there are, someone point me in the right direction. I can't seem to find any. Not that I would ever do that, of course. Not me.

It appears that I was part of a discussion in 2021 when Biden issued the executive order closing the "gun show loophole" and I misunderstood the wording and thought it included all private transfers, not just unlicensed transfers at gun shows.

I pulled up the ATF website and they do not consider gifts between family members "strawman purchases" as long as all other Federal restrictions are in compliance.
