    Crash, are y’all expecting any severe weather after this thing crosses to your side of the state?

    They're forecasting that the winds die down some to about 50 or 60, but some parts of town are expected to get about 20" of rain. Tornadoes are always a concern. We should be fine.

    On a different note, I just took a nap outside (covered porch) on one of those zero gravity recliners. Temp was 66. Coolest it has been since last winter. It won't last, but sure is nice for a little while.

    We've had some cool nights here (60) but back in the 90s during the day. No rain, but no hurricanes either!

    Crash,
    It is good to hear you and yours are safe.

    We have in-laws in Arcadia, FL and haven't heard from them.

    @crashdive123

    My 90 yr old Mom is in Nokomis.
    Alone. Refused plane ticket to ATL where DS is and refused DB’s offer to come get her.
    Power out, she was in her tiny bathroom which is safest place for 6 hours. Ugh.

    Late last night heard She is safe and house seems ok by flashlight. Praise God. Winds hit 140 mph in south Sarasota just 2 miles from her. Waiting to hear more.
    No power. No phone car phone charger. Hopefully neighbor will have one .Really scary, stay safe Crash.
    But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15

    Stay safe, everyone. We have to deal with floods more often than with wind here, but we had a tornado in 2018 and it was wild.
    May god bless and protect you all.
    I own some stuff, and I know some things. But that's all.

    Glad to hear she is safe. That area was het really hard. The storm moved further east as it passed us, so we didn't get het too bad.
