These best friends of ours give us so much and take so little in return. They are truly our best friends...
You can bet he'll be waiting for you...

Max was a great dog. He will be missed.
I am proud I got to share a campfire with Max.
He was a dog of infinite wisdom, he always knew what to say and when to say it and dang if I ever remember him saying anything I could disagree with.
He was the kind of dog that reminded you why men and dogs have shared campfires for 50,000 years.

Yeah, it's too bad they don't live long enough to stay with us.
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. I'm so sorry about your pup!

Ain't much better in this world than having a good dog as a buddy. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. I still miss every one of my dogs.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I am sure he's waiting by the campfire on the other side for you. Dogs do take a special part of our heart.

Max was quite a dog. The only dog I ever knew that could, and did, walk the gunnels of a canoe while in motion. Fearless, a perfect companion, and he will be missed.
