    Default Telescopic Fishing Rod

    Greetings!

It's been a VERY long time since I've posted the WS Forum. I hope everyone has been well.

I wanted to get some suggestions on good Telescopic Fishing Rods. Something sturdy that can be thrown in one's backpack and taken on a trip.

Quality does matter - and affordability does too.

    Thanks ahead of time!

Rather than telescoping....look at emmrod. I have one and love it. https://emmrod.com/

    Thanks, Crash!

Looks nice and sturdy. Can the rod end be taken off or is it collapsible for easier transport? Does it come with a storage bag?

    Thanks ahead of time.

The rod does separate from the handle. Mine did not come with a bag, not sure if that is an option.

I personally use the Zebco telescoping fishing rod, had it for several years with no issues. I switch between using a Bait caster and spinning reel with it. Bought it at DicksSportingGoods.com

My Canadian friend uses the Shakespeare Ugly Stick GX2 rod & reel combo, & it comes with spinning reel. It is not telescoping but they have a model that breaks down into 4 sections, (careful when purchasing, as they have a model with only 3 sections too)
