Default Kind of a Happy New Year Post...Kind of.

It is always so reassuring to be able to log on here and see "my people" even if I have never met any of you. I really appreciate the mind set that finds this website. I almost always find that I have many things in common with most of y'all. A love for the wilderness, a hunger to be self sufficient, a desire to "be prepared" and a passion for learning, not to mention a true appreciation for a useful blade, an accurate firearm, a quiet walk, a well packed bag on your back and the wilderness in front. I am very thankful for the old timers who are here and the new folks who check in. I pray all y'all have a blessed and peaceful, joy filled, fun filled year. God bless and keep you all.

I like all that stuff but most of all the easy going banter...

We're not going to have to hug or anything right?

Step back. There was mention of sharps and guns and such so just remember the six foot rule and things will be hunky dory.

I hope the new year is better than the old one!

    Hey, y'all are still here!
Was in the neighborhood and decided to stop in.
Not dead yet and life has been waaaaay too busy.
I am glad to see the lot of you weathering the storm.
    Carry on!
