Well done sir.. I've got a ton of leather stamps for doing that pattern.. Just never get the time to do it. Got a sweet accurized competition grade 1911 45 that I'd love to make one for. Even have a LARGE section of Alaskan moose hide that I can use.
One thing I look for when perusing yard sale is old first base and catchers mitts.. I take them completely apart and have a bunch of decent sized pieces of leather to make things with. The reason for the catchers mitts and first base mitts is that they have a lot more large pieces than a fielders glove which has all the fingers in them.
I've got soooo many projects out in my 14'x60' shop to do, the bad things is I think I have gremlins out there that go in and move things around where I have to spend half my time looking for them. For instance, I've got 3 dremel tools and I can't find a one of them..
The craft gods aren't playing well with me.. I DO have a ton of paracord and lacrosse racquet cord and I know where that is along with my tying easel. I'm going to post pictures of what that all means..
Well done, lets see more!!
