I have a swimming pool at home and regularly clean it every week with chlorine tablets. Is it safe on the skin in the long term?
Thankyou

We should hook this guy up with jackyjoy.
Now you gotta admit, those there boys are developing some hard core immunities.

...or hard core diseases. Whichever. There are chunky things floating in that. Nasty.
We don't take note of it much in our sanitized society, but world wide 80% of the deaths are due to waterborne diseases and parasites.
There are still places in the world where miliaria is the biggest killer of children under 10, and it lurks in that chunky stuff. So does cholera, typhoid and diphtheria.
Not to mention all those fish you hear about that swim up your butt!
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?
Especially when a person from civilized regions falls into the very tin, in disgusting conditions, to which his body simply does not have immunity. Local residents in such regions, of course, are also susceptible to infection, but less sensitive to pathogens, because they survive there for generations with high mortality.
Must be the yearly communal bath/laundry day.
Soular powered by the son.

The very essence of survival in our terms is NOT doing what most of the rest of the world does as a matter of course.

Yeah, just in the desire to do everything differently from the rest of society, most of our life still happens in a standard way. Yes. we can go on hikes, test ourselves for strength, but when we are in society, then we obey social norms. Since we already use public goods, we must also bear our responsibility to society.
