OK, OK! Real question for you smart guys: Why should I or shouldn't I look at gaming computer for real computer use, not gaming?

Gaming computers will have a graphics card to handle the tasks involved with gaming. The CPU and monitor will be fast. Most will have a beefed up cooling system (playing for hours or days at a time) and a lot (and fast) RAM. They are expandable for all sorts of add on toys.

It will cost quite a bit more and will you ever use those features? If the answer is no, save yourself the money.

Old GI it is like using a bazooka instead of a fly swatter to kill a flying insect.

AS Crash mentioned, the graphics card on gaming computers are amped up in speed and in video memory and drivers to handle multiple gamers avatars on your screen. The more players one sees and number of NPCs and let's not forget about the environment, requires a more powerful graphics card.

These computers also have high end audio cards for HD Audio quality. Gaming computers like Alienware, have some of the fastest CPUs & MEMORY and much larger & faster hard drives. IN short, these computer systems didn't overlook the bottlenecks (which component is the 'slowest' link in the chain)

Gaming computers also can handle the number crunching of working on Video & animation software such as 3D Studio Max, where as your typical home computer would take days to do the same work.

I should also point out that gaming computers cost about double to triple the wattage/electrical usage of your typical home PC. This is due to the internal power supply that powers the additional cooling fans such as a hard drive fan, graphics card cooler fan, CPU fan, power supply fan, and intake and exhaust fans & due to these computer's ability to power additional hardware and USB devices. Not to mention a lot of these computers are liquid cooled and have transparent sides to the tower to see a color display.

Last these computers have amped up lighted fast acting keyboards that can handle abuse, and multi function mice/trackballs with specialized key binds so that one can press a trackball button to do a particular casting sequence.

It is like driving a Lamborghini only on the streets of NYC with a speed limit of 25 mph with multiple red lights and stop signs. Sure it is a powerful fast car, but you are never going to be able to see what it can do on the streets of NYC. Same would be true with you buying a gaming computer

My gaming system for example has 8 Cambridge Soundworks speakers, 1 sub woofer and a sound bar displaying on a 40 inch led HD monitor with 10 superfast USB 3.2 connectors, all of which are used, with 2TB of hard drive space, and a multifunction keyboard and multi button wireless trackball (that was $100 alone)

My professional opinion is if you are not a gamer, don't bother getting a gaming computer, as you are going to be stuck at 25 mph in your Lamborghini on the streets of NYC.

Attention, now I will open for you a very cool online casino that operates at a very profitable level. For more information visit this site SPAMS ARE US to see what I am talking about. In fact, there are many such platforms, but not all of them are reliable.

When I was in Costa Rica there were nakid ladies. I told my son to turn his head and not look. He asked me why. I told him it was a father's duty to make certain the son was not corrupted. I made him turn his head and later I would explain what I saw. I made him go on ahead and stayed a bit to make certain I didn't miss anything. Corruption has to be studied as to not miss anything. You can't be too careful. It was difficult but I did it for him you understand.

One must now take in the time/distance equation and note that if Rick's son was in need of such innocence protective action, the women in question are now in their 60s and 70s, and have lived on a diet of tacos, tortillas and beans for the past 40 years.

Run that through your vivid imagination!

First thing I wondered is how bad those old ladies farts must be.
I'd hug them very gently if I had to hug them at all.

    I was afraid of that!

An over protective parent is a terrible thing for a kid to deal with.

    Especially when you are 40.

I'm not overprotective. I just don't need the competition. I'm old.
