Aye, Benesse. They do speak for themselves. How many sorting machines were destroyed by his Postmaster General before the courts made them stop? Trump said he wanted to get rid of mail in ballots (otherwise a Republican can't win). He also said that he admired Kim Jung-un's and Vladimir Putin's ability to consolidate power. And he wants to get rid of term limits.

You know who brought Germany out of the mess they were in after WWI...Hitler.
And the economy improved a little under the Bolsheviks (of course, then, they got much worse,) but then it improved. They beat us into space!
And China is positioned to be the strongest economy on the planet.

If you don't mind a tyrant, maybe Trump can change things in America!

Economy can self regulate to a certain extent. I certainly don't think Obama had much to do with the improvement. Him and the oil companies almost wrecked the Gulf. Every president we've had, the supporters say, "look at what our president has done!" But if you look, the change usually started before them.

Trump lost a lot of support when he and his thugs busted into a church during Easter services to get a photo-ops of him holding a Bible upside-down.

He likes people likening him to Nero while Rome burned.

I submit that, yes, Trump is not a very good person and it really does matter.

You have to know that makes no sense.

You seem to have forgotten about the Weimar Republic, a little thing called the Great Depression, the Dawes Plan and the League of Nations. Germany was on the road to recovery before Hitler declared himself Chancellor albeit plagued by war debt that it could never repay imposed by the winning countries. And how can you compare a National Republic to two Communist Nations? Your comparisons are apples and oranges.

The photo op you are talking about wasn't during Easter Services. It was done on June 1. At least get your timeline straight. This is the problem with folks. They make things up as they go along and just call it good.

Ah. Your right! He did crash a regular church service with his thugs to get a photo op. Hitler was a member of the little old Weimar republic.

And Germany was recently sleeping then too.

Give Trump what he wants and we'll no longer be a republic. Our economy might be okay, though. Ya'll just sleep on through it, though. We'll wake you up when there's a dictatorship in the US. That'll be a bitter fruit.

Actually, the Weimer Republic ceased to exist in 1933 when Hitler was appointed Chancellor.

Comparing the U.S. to 1930s Germany, again, is comparing apples and oranges. The governments are nothing alike. Comparing Trump to a man who murdered 6 million Jews is a bit far fetched but if that's how you see him, so be it.

Hitler was a socialist. He put the word "socialist" in the National Socialist German Workers Party or "Nazis". Everyone knew before and during WW11 that ALL original Fascists evolved from men of the left. Mussolini was an editor of the largest socialist newspaper in Italy until he tweaked socialism and called it Fascism. Fascism arose due to what was called the "crisis of marxism" or that the predictions of Marx weren't happening with class struggle and they changed it to a national struggle. Fascism didn't start moving to the right until the horrors of the genocide came to light. Then the Marxists started to write that the Nazis weren't "real" socialists.

Then the US embraced fascism and called it freedom. Hopefully we can begin to move the needle back the other direction soon.

Let's hope so. I would prefer a country that refuses to stand in recognition of a Tuskegee airman, eats $20 ice cream out of a $10,000 freezer and gets our hair done in a salon that is closed to everyone else. Now, that's true freedom.

    O.o

    Are those common things?

My point is that tyrants can be good economists, too. In fact, it benefits them. A healthy economy funnels more resources into the country so they can then funnel the money into their pockets so they can support bigger militaries to surround themselves with so they can stomp people who get in their way out on the street. And those are the people that Trump admires and elections interfere with his plans so his plans include demolishing sorting machines before elections and eliminating mail-in ballots.

Yes, they are. Too common. You seem to forget there are three branches of government in this country, not one. I'm done with this. Believe whatever you want. I don't really care. If you can't see that people have actually benefited then that's on you.

Tyrant Wanted: need evil genius for important position in a large country who is willing to work for free.
Must have knowledge how to trick businesses to return, manufacture and employ millions to give an illusion of a great economy. Must build military and withdraw from existing conflicts. Must develop peace and trade agreements that are deemed impossible. Must be willing to accept responsibility for the mistakes of others. Must have the ability to work with idiots......INQUIRE WITHIN

Yeah. You develop "peace" and trade by giving the others what they want. Who have we developed peace and trade with and what do they want. And, yes, I tyrant needs a strong military. They also need to disassemble any democracy, like, by weakening communications and by destroying elections. Tyrannies don't tribe in a democracy.

Well, at least we know why you moved to Colorado.

    What are you smoking anyway?

Open a window and air that room out so you can see what is going on!

In two years we have brokered three peace deals in the mid-east. The first since the early 1990s.

We have also cut a deal with N. Korea that ended much of that mess we were facing at the end of the "last administration".

This whole thread reminds me of the time I hit a chicken on my motorcycle.
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?
