If you feed the dog the compass, and then he craps it out, will it always point north after that?

    The dog or the compass?

(Have you ever noticed that little boys always talk about poop? (raises hand))

LOL, better believe it. Denver's a great town but weirdness abounds here. We have decapitators (both living and dead,), portals, werewolves, and our most popular park is like a scene out of Poltergeist.
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.

I'm good with all that other stuff but "decapitators" is a deal breaker for me...

Yeah, I'm a little leery of portals as well. I'd like to see a map of where I'm going first.

I just wanted you all to know that I came back and edited my original post to spam your site. The moderators knew that I would do it because I'm an idiot. Yes, I am an idiot spammer that is not very smart.
