    Default New Direction.

I picked up an old 1963 Apache Eagle tent trailer a few weeks ago, for free. I think it will be a project for when the rain quits around here. I uses a canvas tent over a fold out frame. Tent that came with it is rotted out. I have an old Coleman nylon tent I will try and make work with the frame and beds. We shall see how it goes. Might make a good base camp for deer season.

What it could look like, If I bought $1000 worth of Canvas.

Man, if you can get your stuff in it, and stay warm and dry or cool and dry, that's all you need.

They make replacement canvas for those popups. Yep, about a grand.

Looks like lots of potential there. If worst came to worst I am sure a blue tarp and duck tape could make it very useable.

I finally got to work on this in the nice weather. I used an old tent I had, and a tarp roof from an old carport I saved. I think it will work to keep me dry. And, it didn't cost me anything but time.20200416_164519.jpg

Looks like the tent was almost made for the frame of it. Nice job.
