Question Favorite fall mushrooms to forage for in the Midwest?

Hey everyone! So I have been really trying to expand my knowledge around wild mushrooms. I am curious what is everyones favorite fall mushroom? Why?

I am hoping to get a little out of my comfort zone and find new edible kinds.

I love morels! Have been trying to find new edible specimens though. Really been loving Hen of the Woods lately. My friend and I actually just recorded a podcast episode thats a deep dive into Hen of the Woods. If anyone wants to listen send me a message

Has anyone ever tried to forage for and eat honey mushrooms?
