Thread: Yeti mug

    Default Yeti mug

For Christmas my wife got me a yeti mug. I’ve been using it for six months and it’s my go to mug. It keeps my hot drinks hot and the cold drinks cold. I wouldn’t use it over a fire but, no complaints.

#3 son gave me one several years ago. It's the Rambler 32oz Tumbler. When I finish my second one full of coffee each morning I know I've had enough for the day. I use it only for coffee. I've got another one (different brand 32 oz) that I use for cold water. I've found that if I fill the yeti with ice and tea, it becomes a big solid piece of iced tea. Yeti stuff is really good for what it's made for. I have a medium sized (48 qt I think) ice chest. I haven't had any ice melt in it yet.

I have heard, don't know if it's true, that Yeti has made some anti-gun, Pro gun control statements and supported some gun control issues.

Yeti was offering price discounts and products through the NRA Foundation and they severed those ties last year.

I like the Simple Modern brand. They work about the same for less.

I hear ya. It’s the only yeti thing I have. I wouldn’t have bought it for myself. It’s a good piece of gear for what it does. Another good piece of gear is my in-laws freezer. It’s been running since 1962. Lol

They discontinued their discount program for several organizations. I know a lot of people were shooting and blowing up their Yetis after news broke about it. I am not in a financial position to shoot, blow up or otherwise destroy two coolers, two 30 oz tumblers and two 14 oz coffee mugs. I will say that I have NRA and Duluth Trading stickers on the coolers.

    I haven't bought one yeti.

Actually, my dog's current favorite chew toy is a brick of yeti cheese. Now, I want to see someone milk a yeti....
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.

I see what you did there. Yeti tumbler. Ice never melts. Nice job.
