    Thanks!
Getting closer to retirement and was wondering what I would do. So, I bought a farm. Just the opposite of what most retirees do. I will keep the farming section leased. It pays the taxes. The other half has woods with a creek and pond. There was a house but it burned. I have the electric, well and septic. I’ll make some trails. Food plots. Shooting range and cabin. The good part is it’s only 10 minutes from the house. I started hydroponic gardening. Just experimenting with the different systems. Learning the nutrient/ph requirements. Maybe incorporate an aquaponic system to part of it. I just finished a shorty ar build in 556. Looking at another in 300 aac.

The feds are looking over an increase in hydroponic component purchases and weapons purchases as we speak.

It's spring, what do they expect?

there is always an increase in sales of gardening equipment, firearms, boats and motorcycles in the spring!
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

I grew a mess of mustard greens and didn’t have to wash out the sand.

Aquaponics is pretty big down south (or it was 6 years ago when I was there). Who woulda thought lettuce and tilapia would go together so well?
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.

I break no laws. Never have and never will. Smokin mustard greens might be a new one. Any takers?

Lol, I put a cheap thermometer in the greenhouse and now it’s stuck at 120
