Looks like most survived the fall.
Does Shaken, not Stirred apply to bourbon?
If we are to have another contest in…our national existence I predict that the dividing line will not be Mason and Dixon's, but between patriotism & intelligence on the one side, and superstition, ambition & ignorance on the other…

Our entire state has been sent into trauma.
The flags are flying at half mast and all public service workers are wearing black arm bands.
But it is proof that Kentucky builds the best barrels in the world!
The real trick is that what you see on the ground there is about 10 million dollars in federal revenue which has not yet been collected but I guarantee it is being well guarded. Every ounce will have to be accounted for.
ATFE is all over that place and the reporters are probably not allowed anywhere near it.
Please extinguish all cigarettes if within 50 miles of Bardstown, KY.
Bardstown is the definition of "near Louisvlle". The road going through Bardstown is the connector for about a dozen of the well known distilleries and is known as "The Bourbon Trail". A couple of those distilleries have been in operation since before KY was a state and even legally operated through the prohibition era as makers of "medicinal supplies".
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?
Crash and I have been at the scene all week-end lending a hand in the cleanup. They've asked us to go home several times but we've refused. We know they are just looking out for out best interests but we are here to help!

That is one of the distilleries I haul out of on a regular basis! Lets just say they ain't real happy right now.
If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.
We've been here all week working on the clean up. I don't think we can handle much more. I can't find Crash.

Y'know. You two seem to be working too hard. That sun'll kill you if yer not careful.
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.
We found out some of the barrels leaked into the local river so naturally we pitched in to help with that.

Rick and Crash were stranded at sea in a small boat. They noticed a bottle floating in the ocean and grabbed it thinking it contained whiskey. Upon opening it a genie popped out and said she'd grant them one wish. Rick immediately yelled, "I wish the whole ocean was made of Whiskey!" Poof! The genie and the bottle were gone and the whole ocean was 90 proof Kentucky Bourbon.
Crash said, "Rick, you idiot, now look what you've done".
Rick stopped splashing mouthfulls of ocean into his mouth to look puzzled....? Crash said, "Now we'll have to piss in the boat!"
You guys have fun. There was only 9000 barrels in the accident, just make sure there's not another one!
Alan
Did you hear that Crash? There might be another barrel hidden some where! Wait a minute...You aren't holdin' out on me are you?
I'm shocked.....shocked I tell ya. Now just sing with me................
9000 barrels of bourbon on the wall, 9000 barrels of bourbon on the wall. If one of them should fall......
Try as we might, Crash and I were no match for gravity. We tried, we really, really, did (burp). We are heading back to Kentucky as I write this. It's a tough job but someone has to do it.

It was a tough week-end for Crash and me. We picked up some bacon and almost made it back to the collapsed warehouse but stopped for a breather. When we woke up someone had "borrowed" our bacon. At least they left us a thank you note. You have no idea how much booze was in that warehouse. We might be here for a while.

It's tough, but somebody has to do it. We do it as a public service..............no need to thank us.
There's an explanation for this. We aren't sure what it is at the moment but there is an explanation...we think.
