Default My leatherman went through a snowblower

Last winter I lost my leatherman. So I went to the last two jobs I was at and could not find it. At one of the jobs the owner told me he was blowing snow and heard a thrack coming out of the snow blower. I couldn't find it and figured it was under a furnace.

A few weeks ago my service man went to one of the houses to do some routine maintenance. The owner there gave him my leatherman, my mangled up leatherman. It had went through his snowblower. He must of found it in the yard where the snow blower threw it. Snowblower one, leatherman zero.
so the definition of a criminal is someone who breaks the law and you want me to believe that somehow more laws make less criminals?

Leatherman (Leathermen? Leathermans?) are pretty tough. Snowblowers must be really tough.

When I get a chance I'll take a picture of it and post it here. It has seen much better days. I think I have one at the bottom of a 10 foot trench. To bad they don't warranty loss. That one was a supertool 300 or something like that. The one that went through the snowblower I think was a wave. I'll stock back up come Christmas time and homedepot has there good deals.

    This reminds me......

Do you remember those old Timex commercials with John Cameron Swayze? I was thinking of the one where they attached the watch to the prop of an outboard. Well.........

On a Submarine, a long, long time ago a guy took his Timex and attached it to the super structure in a free flood area. We went out a for a few days for training. During that time we did a deep dive. When we returned to port the watch was still working.

He wrote a letter to Timex. In the letter all he could say was "deep dive" because of the classified nature of that number. Timex wrote him back thanking him, saying we are unable to use your story (probably talked to lawyers) but gave him a lifetime supply of Timex watches.

If it's a good company....and there are quite a few....

They don't even ask or care what happened.....

Most of time they will just take you name and address and ship you another one.
Somethings you have to seed what ever back....Like Mag Lights.....a new one will show up.

I just keep thinking about that Leatherman in the 10' deep trench. It is stainless and it might last for a milinea.

One of these days some Ancient Alien investigator is going to find that multi-tool in 50,000 year old strata and promote it as proof that high tech aliens were present in the deep recesses of pre-history.

"...advanced civilization predates previous records by 50,000 years!...

Some archaeologist will find it next week and carbon date some rocks around it.

I've got one at the bottom of a lake. They will think they've found Atlantis if they dredge it up. It's in about 20 ft of water.

On another occasion #3 son dropped his in the same lake. I started fishing for it with the magnet and I hear a splash. I turn around an he's not in the boat. Directly, here he comes up from the bottom. Two more tries and he found it. Ah, youth...

I'll bet that Roman guy is still ticked about it.

"I paid 12 Dinarius for that stupid thing! Had it four day and lost it. I've had this stinkin' dagger forever and can't lose it."
"I told you, Octavius, you never lose the cheap tools. Only the expensive ones. Nero's Law."
