I ran into a guy I went to school with several years after we graduated. Long story short, he told me all he needed was his truck, his dog and his shotgun. A man has to have his priorities straight in life.

O'Doule was driving down the road one night returning form the pub. He noticed flashing lights in his mirror and pulled over. When Paddy got to the window he explained that he had not had too much to drink... Paddy stopped him and said, "I'm not stopping you for the way you were driving, but I had to tell you that about a mile back yer wife fell out of the car." O'Doule breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Thank God, I thought I'd gone deaf".

    That was my first thought.

I had other thoughts too but I had to erase them to preserve international relations.

All I know is that if I took off for five-ten years there would have been one he!! of a yard sale about 90 days into the absence and I would have been declared dead and been replaced.
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

I cannot imagine how much of a beating my wife could have saved up in ten years. She was angel of a woman but I am pretty certain that would have been one step too far over the line. Given the amount of cast iron we have I would have been better off moving to Siberia and just staying. Those skillets are bound to hurt.

"nagging wife" is redundant. You only need to say "wife", the adjective is not needed.

That guy may have been found in a pub......drinking and sobbing?

    Bartender says "You seem upset"?

He say, "You bet....20 years ago, today......I was gonna kill my wife she was driving me crazy....."
    Everyone said I get 20 years"........So I didn't kill her... I just took off for 10 years."

Today is 20 years....I would be FREE....
