    Default New guy from Kentucky

Just saying hello for now, and let everyone know I've been lurking on here a little bit, and found some amazing ideals.

In what section of this fine commonwealth do you reside Swampy?

I am up near the KY/OH/IN border.

Sort of a strange place. The people here think they are in the mid-west!
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

As a guy who was raised in Iowa, I can attest this is not the Midwest! It also isn't the east, or the south, and not really the north...... after 10 years, I just now came to the conclusion that I've been living in purgatory!

Howdy from ohio, near the KY/OH/IN border!

    Big South Fork National Park

South fork of the Cumberland River before it loops south into Middle Tennessee. You can run from there to New Orleans on an inner tube. It joins the Daniel Boone National Forest and runs all the way to the Ohio River. Other side of the Ohio it turns into the Wayne National Forest and runs all the way up to near Lake Erie.

Beautiful place this time of year. Mostly hardwood forest and the colors are magnificent.

hello and welcome from S.W. Indiana
If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.
