Well, y'know, if I'm ever in a situation where I have to get up river and I have a bunch of coolers (maybe I could scrounge them out of the left-behinds in the campground), I'll have it cinched.
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.
I probably have that many old coolers around.......lots of "one way-ers"......
Ued them for carrying game back..... from all over.
You should have seen the coolers we had up on Grand Mesa.....they blew up and split.
Guess the excavation was too much for them....LOL

"If the women don't find you handsome they should at least find you handy"
Now Rick I think you are mistaking canooler with canoodling.
Apparently Fixit has never seen the show, does not know about the handyman's secret weapon or the Possum Pledge.
Now that I have lived alone for many years I find myself saying the pledge less and less. Long time since I held my head low and mumbled "I'm a man, but I can change, if I have too, I guess."
I'm rootin' for you, we're all in this together!
Just imagine what Red could have achieved if he had access to Guerrilla Tape in his younger years?

If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?
That was late-night comedy on Weekends back in the 80's.
Brought down from Canada:
Friday was The Red Green Show and Saturday was the Great White North with Bob and Doug Mckenzie. (SCTV)
Take off, hoser!
Wilderness Survival:
Surviving a temporary situation where you're lost in the wilderness
Looks pretty cool, to me. He didn't show the ballast underneath, though.
Here's the video that introduced me to this mechanical genius: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZDCBVy22W8
Hey, does that dude realize that he has one red suspender and one green suspender?
The pessimist complains about the wind;
The optimist expects it to change;
The realist adjusts the sails.

Both those shows were A#1. I have no idea where they got some of those guys or dreamed up some of those sketches but they were the bees knees for certain. Edgar was the explosives guy, 'member him? Wasn't anything couldn't be fixed with enough explosives. And Ranger Ranger from Tower 13? And Winston's Sewage Sucking Septic Service? Yeah, I watched a few episodes.
