Truth is that ROTC is not an optional course in the Russian public schools even today. They start this type training in grammar school and have contests at each grade level.

I have seen videos of them lined up and one kid take the AK down and the next one put it back together in group contests.

I just wonder how they get the bolt to slide back into the rails while attached to the carrier. That part always slows me down.

I took ROTC in High School and College. We didn't do M16 disassembly until college, and only because I was trying to get on the Ranger Challenge team.

Poor Russian girls. 100 women to 88 men ratio with one of the highest alcoholism rates in the world along with one of the highest unemployment rates. Also historically abusive to their women and spoiled rotten by the lop-sided ratio. No interest in impressing a female to draw or keep their interest.

Average life expectancy for a Russian man is about the same as you find in sub Saharan Africa. Something life age 56. Mostly alcohol related deaths.

Only about 5-10 of those 88 men being fit for marriage consideration.

No wonder they want to come over here by the boatload.

You mail order one of these Soviet educated and trained women and you don't want to Pi$$ her off!

You could disassemble the rifle and take off running and she could still put it together and shoot you before you got 100 yards!

27 seconds Kyrat. I'm not sure I can even turn around in 27 seconds much less make it to the front door. 100 yards might take me all afternoon. The poor woman could take a nap and still have time to take me out. All I'd be is tire and dead.
