    Default New Knife

    DSCF7515.jpg

Just picked this Kephart style knife made by Bill Siegle yesterday evening. Have not done much with it yet, except make breakfast. So far, I really like how it feels, and how it slices through cheese and other foods. Maybe I will have a chance this weekend to get out and try it a bit more.
    (Photo blatantly stolen from Bill).

so the definition of a criminal is someone who breaks the law and you want me to believe that somehow more laws make less criminals?

With the fires at home and work, I have not had much of a chance to get out in the woods. This sure does make a nice kitchen knife though. I do need to keep it away from The Wife. She really likes it.

This one is made from .200 thick 5160 and black micarta scales with brass pins. The handle is contoured similar to the originals too. Overall it is 10 inches with a 5 inch blade tip to handle. Weight is 10oz.

Bill is now making me a smaller one, with handles of some purple heart wood I have.
