Oddly, "it was just a matter of time" pretty much says it. And equally oddly, I can't really say anything bad about it. I can see it being pretty useful and welcome.

Until we start having problems with someone hacking even that and screwing with it.

I like the idea of these for lost arrows. Through and through is not uncommon at all, and I would prefer it to having an arrow stuck in an animal. So, it ain't always about hitting (or not hitting) your target.

2000 years from now.....archaeologist will dig up the remains of the tamarack swamp that will be on the top of a mountain by then...That I bow hunted in and around for many years.

They will deduce that a heck of a battle occurred there, as there are alum. Game Getters 2117, with Astro points...everywhere.

    I do think it's a good idea.....

Lost arrow in thick cover? Send your recovery drone in to recover you arrow while your game drone finds your prey again for another shot.

You definitely want your arrow to pass through the animal. A lot of hunting occurs in diminished light and in heavily wooded areas. Losing arrows is very common. And recovering that arrow will let you know what organs your arrow hit. As well as giving you a quadrant on the ground that you can reference on the ground to confirm the direction your game ran.

If you can track it, who else is?
