It's possible in Louisiana to have too much fun. Stay well.
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.

Oh no.. daughters wedding. I probably have at least 4 more years before that threat starts looming.

Got home this AM about 10:30.....That last 2 hours around Chicago is really PITA

Was a safe trip....but turned out to be more of a mission.
This was her second marriage.......first one didn't work out after 17 years.....but hopefully this will work out.

Stayed at their house with his mother, dad....all brother. sisters..., kids,...grand kids,...and 4 dogs...
ALL on their DEVICES all the time.............AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I guess the only way to communicate...is tha get a Iphone...?????

After a week it was time to go home....
We left our dogs in a kennel......(good move)...and they agreed one week was enough....

Thank for the good wishes, I/we need some cheering up.....

When I was younger, I used to look forward to go off on an "adventure"...going new places, meeting new people.......trying new things.

Geezerhood....Getting there and back in one piece, completing the mission.....getting home....none the worse for wear.
Now I like napping in my chair, my own bed, dogs sleeping on the couch....and ......QUIET

    Good safe trip.

We used to take off to the mountains for the summer the minute Kelly got done with school. Now it might be a day or two or three. And after 6-8 weeks of living off the grid, no elec, no running water, cooking over a fire, NO A/C! around August I start thinking about our real bed, my recliner, TV, computer, hot showers, ice, A/C!, Climate controlled pistol range, and our own washer and dryer.

I see solar panels and a battery bank in the future up there...

Man, I'm not sure I could take a road trip, a full house, and the energy of a wedding anymore.

Look at the up side, if you only have to do it every 17 years you have it made. In 17 years you'll be in the motorized wheel chair so you can use the electric plug in at all the shopping stores.
