    Default Would Like Your Prayers

My son in law was found dead this afternoon. He was an alcoholic and drank himself to death as his mother did. My daughter and he have been separated for several months but he leaves behind a daughter and a son (my grand kids). Your prayers for them would be greatly appreciated.

    Rick

Yes, you'll be in my prayers. I always wish there was something else I could say or do...
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.

There aren't any words I have that will bring comfort. I will pray for you and your family.

Sending prayers for strength and healing.
If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.

Sorry to hear this, Rick. I'm not very good with words, but I'm sure the good Lord will know what I mean when I say a prayer for you and your family. You'll be in my thoughts.

I'm really sorry to hear this. One bit of advice that is VERY important. Allow her to grieve like any widow. It doesn't matter if he was an asshole. It doesn't matter if they were separated. It doesn't matter if he did it to himself. She needs to be allowed to grieve all the things that are now no longer possible, the passing of the father he could have been to their child, and the good times they must have had at one point.
