Default Cute little girl... fight's to keep her chickens

This was on our news yesterday.....with all the "Awww...The big meanies at the city government picking on a little girl with illegal chickens.
    http://www.tmj4.com/news/local-news/...p-pet-chickens

Actually, I do not have anything against keeping chickens.......
    BUT
This should have been checked onto and permit secured BEFORE....the little girl was given the chicks.
I am against a biased News Team Story.... seeking special treatment by a law breaker.

Interview with the "Mom".....points out how keeping the kids "Pets" will teach responsibility.
I'm sorry,.. How does that work?..... don't pay attention to laws, then threaten to "break a little girl's heart?
BS....that's not how you do it....to teach responsibility?

I'm thinking Mom is trying to teach the cute little girl...that all it takes to be cute, bat your eyes and you will always get your way.
    Seems that's been Mom's method?

I hope they change the law and she gets to keep her chickens.....and when the neighbors have a 100 running around with the rooster crowing..... "Well, she can do it why not me...Ain't I cute?"

In a few other places I read the same thing over and over.

Animal rescue. I brought this pitiful puppy home but he's dog, animal, kid, and man aggressive. But he's such a sweet dog (?????) We don't have a fenced in yard (usually rescuing a working/ herding dog) and I don't have time to take him on a walk everyday. He tears the house apart if we let him out of his crate (cage). I hate to take him back to the pound. And don't tell me to get training because we can't afford it.

Cute livestock. I brought home 12 baby goats and I can't keep them in my 2 ft high temporary fence. They have diarrhea and I don't know what to feed them. Please don't tell me to call the vet because we can't afford it and fencing is so expensive.

These are the posts that you don't respond to because they are completely clueless. No forethought at all.

    Yeah, no ship.......

This one grated my buttox because if the smug Buffy mom....and the hankie-ringing news lady.
If you are cute you don't have to follow rules and laws....What the heck.... I'm old and cute...Right?

I should be able to take a few "roadie brewskies" with me....and if god had not intended me to have a few....why would there be can holders all over the truck?

We don need on stinking laws...Oh wait, This is Different?

Now and then I'll watch "Cops" or something like it and the perps excuses always leave me shaking my head. The cops have the patience of Job IMHO. I couldn't keep repeating, "It doesn't matter if you didn't know. It's still against the law. " Over and over without slapping them eventually.

No a LOT of sadness.....and gives a glimpse of a major way of thinking.....being perpetuated.

Many years ago (1990 or 91)...when I first purchased our property...I had put up a tree stand.
Headed out early one morning ti hunt.......to find about a 15 year old kid in my stand.

Ask him to get down.......as I was going to hunt there that morning....
He says kinda snotty...."Well my Dad is So and So..... and HE said I could hunt here!

Well, your dad doesn't own this and if he told you that he is full of shinola....OUT.
    He left..

Kid (adult) now lives down the road in his own house......
I see him in a saloon once in awhile......he still brings it up......
Guess it's in the up bringing.

Before I bought my house, that was one of the things I was looking at... can I keep chickens. I agree with you Hunter, if you don't like the law, change it...but don't break it because you want to.
