What part of Florida are you in? I'm in the Jacksonville area.
About 2 hours from you cedar key
We have a pretty active Florida group that camps together several times a year. If you're interested, I'll let you know when our next camp is....probably won't be till cooler weather in the fall.
Cooler weather?! What a bunch of pansies. Got pretty warm here today. It was 73.
What are you talking about? 73 is cold weather and time to break out the parka and mukluks.
Yeah I also meet up with a group that camps and do field work.
Nice work on the cabbage palm Bishop. That was quick! Them jack boots don't cut through easy. I ain't a Cold Steel fan or hater. But, I might check that out.
The two handed machete is a great tool when you get the factory edge tapperd in.
I have an old sugar cane knife that has the same blade pattern. It's thin too. It's a one hander
Yes it's made out of 1095 or 1055 carbon steel I have had the one in the video a long time.
