    Default April Camp With Friends

Back from a few days of camping. You might be able to tell that we were really roughing it. Thursday night was chili with all the fixins, Friday a mountain man breakfast (lots of bacon, sausage, potatoes, onions, peppers and eggs in a skillet), Friday night deep dish pizza from a Dutch Oven, garlic knots, Saturday AM another mountain man breakfast with fresh cinnamon buns, biscuits and sausage gravy, Saturday night - pot roast, potatoes, carrots, strawberry shortcake, freshly baked bread. I think all of us will be dieting for the next few weeks.

It was a fine end to the FL camping season (for most of us). The weather was just about perfect. The food was outstanding and total overload. I'll post some more pics today.

Hey, Crash. Is that what you call roughing it or "A miserable hardship tour (but somebody has to do it)?

Speaking of old... We weren't sure whether this was for IV's or dialysis. It was a toss up with all the grey hairs and no hairs in camp. Turns out Mannlicher drank it. Go figure.

Everybody looked like they really didn't want to leave. Great camp.

Hahahah nope even when I camp with my wife I don't even bring that much.. just my small survival bag extras I bring for non roughing it is a tent, folding camp chairs, some food for barbecues, juice and a few snacks
Otherwise it's much the same things I would use on my survival trips
