    Default spice up your knives

    that's what i've been doing
    lately i've made micarta in burlap, canvas, duck cloth,
    corncon, pinecone, coffee beans, pine needles,and colored corn kernels.
    sorry no pics. but yes thats what i'm experimenting with these days.
    today i'll try to do two more blocks 5x10,in in burlap i love the texture and look of it.
    burlap scales with canvas guards look nice.
    coyotes listen to them, like children of the night what music they make.

    That coffee bean has to be a really small knife. Gotta make a pen knife look like a machete.

    rick i don't get it why do you say small? the knive it will go on will be
    9-1/2 n long.

    no hunter it's a bunch of coffee beans heh heh. you shoul see the pine needle micarta i did.

    Micarta seems easy enough to make. Coffee bean micarta sounds interesting I would love to see the pics.

    I have done coffee bean micarta. Unless the beans are stabilized, you can't grind and shape the scales to expose the beans. They will deteriorate rather quickly under use if you do.
