    Default Free Printable Topo Maps

Some of you probably already know about Topozone, but until recently I didn't. It allows you to print a variety of maps including USFS, topo maps and satellite images...for free!

I just printed off an area I plan to visit this spring if all works out. I simply printed off several maps and taped them together to make a large scale topo map of the area. I then went over the whole thing with packing tape to make it somewhat water resistant.

I'm a big fan of free things. I love maps. Seemed like a match made in heaven.

Oooh, I like Acme mapper, but unfortunately Caltopo does not cover my area. Too bad, I really liked its detail.

Cool, thanks for posting....Love free stuff as well.

I would need a new printer ...mine died by not using it.
Ink would dry out as I only used it a couple of times a month....so had to mess with it to get back running, realigned... etc. etc>
