    Default RIP Chuck Berry

His music will live on for billions of years....

Two NASA spacecraft, the Voyagers, are heading into interstellar space carrying golden records with music and other messages from Earth, just in case intelligent extraterrestrials ever stumble upon them. Berry's 1958 hit "Johnny B. Goode" was among the tracks that made it onto the record.<<<Quote

Years ago I was returning home from a business trip and got upgraded to first class. It turned out I was across the aisle from Chuck Berry who was coming to town to perform. He was lamenting with his lady friend that his show needed something more. Something that would add a bit of pizzazz. I said, "excuse me. Have you ever considered hopping across the stage on one leg?" The rest is history.

He was an icon in the music industry. No doubt about it.

Should have told him to watch "Back to The Future"....Michael J Fox had it down pretty good.

The cornerstone of Rock-N-Roll, an enervator, and truly a lifelong performer. God Bless, heaven just got a whole lot cooler!
