Default Hey RandyT, got you some ammo

Found this while surfing the net. Remembered you asking about it some time ago.

They only have 44 boxes left!

It seems a bit pricey, but I sometimes forget that many of the centerfire loadings push $2 a shot.

I paid $50 for a box of .44 magnum a while back and it was a "short box" of only 25 rounds.

For me, when they get up there past $0.25 per shot it is time to start reloading, then I realize that some of the empty brass is $1 per case and some of the good quality slugs are going for nearly $1 and even the standard offerings are $0.50.

At least you still have a supplier for 30-40 ammo. Good news for a cartridge that has been out of the government inventory for more than 100 years, and a tribute for what government surplus sales once did for the nation as a whole.

I've been getting some brass from graf and sons, hear it's made by jamison. We're probably due for a special run from remington.

And this is where I start having trouble not buying some even though I have no use for it whatever. You never know when the chance to shoot somebody else's rifle will crop up and it's nice to be able to bring the ammo.

And here I still have *so* much m855 and such to stock up on before next year.

There ain't too many problems you can't fix with $500 or a 30-06.

There is a Guy & HW that sells at our local shows.....that sell all sorts of odd ball stuff....prices not bad.

Last show I was looking at .307 Win....Didn't know it existed....LOL

it is a great price, I'm surprised it costs less than the 30-40 krag. I have a good stash of 38-55 as well. Some of it s older, some is from canada, some comes in metal lined boxes.

Man I am really boosting the economy and promoting the industry !!!

I probably should go out and buy me an old obsolete clunker in some obscure caliber so I can rejoice too.

I wonder if they have any .310 Martini?

I'm not sure about the "obscure caliber", I just couldn't pass up 30-30 for $12.99 a box.

Not odd at all! I have the 30-30 barrel for the HR and it shoots rings around my Winchester.

Probably due to loading 165gn match grade BTHP bullets in the SS that can not be used in the lever gun due to their pointy tips.

I do load one up the spout on the lever gun when I am hunting with everything else being the required blunt points.

It should only take one shot.... anyway....Right?

The only Win '94 around is a win .32 spl....the round noses are worn out from being in and out of the magazine so many times....LOL
Do have some silver tips left.....werewolf ammo, you know.....were popular before Zombies.
