Thank you Star and Rick, glad to be back among old friends. Frankly, I forget, but when I see a name, everything comes back....

I was in tears this morning, my youngest son came back for a short and handed me a Thermarest Z Lite Solo.....he said it will help me with my recuperating spine and also, replacing one item at a time for my lost gear.

So when you see my name, you do remember the money that you owe me right?

Oh..nope..I haven't lost that, for a man who has been fightin' the commies in his early 20's, risked his life to rescue drowns, helped rescue people in roaring currents, been plunged down a waterfall, fought a 6 footer knive welding Columbian who was after my wallet in Costa Rica and surviving his eight motorcycle accident (the earlier 7 were skids, lost of control and got nuthin' to do with other people or vehicles) and surviving this worst accident of my life, I feel that I can now face whatever comes to me, but not to my family....

I was getting near to my "9 lives" when I decided to save a couple of lives for other things....
So sold the bikes and got a 4 wheeler.

Welcome back Tokwan! I was browsing some old threads yesterday and realized that I had not seen any posts from you lately. Glad To hear that you are on the mend. Good idea to switch from two wheels to four wheels but be aware that 4 wheelers can be quite unstable in some terrain. I have never rolled mine but have had some "oh s**t" moments.

The chin guard was okay, the peak, visor broke in 3, right rear side broke, strap was okay, now that explains for the small titanium piece in my head?

Thankfully, you had a helmet. You probably wouldn't be here if you hadn't had it on.

Just got discharged about 5 days after 2 weeks in the hospital for a minor procedure. The doc says I will be okay...hehe...all systems go..given the green light.
I was told to rest after the procedure, no tv, bright lights for 3 or 4 days. If I do so, I will not have any headaches for the next few weeks. The doc is right...I feel great.
