Smile Tokwan Is Back, after an Accident.

Hi Folks, I'm bacccckkk...sorry for not being able to inform you guys much earlier.
Just couldn't get back into this forum due to a motorcycle accident more than a year ago. Coming back from motorcycle camping and truck lost control hitting me on my bike on the right side. Was badly injured in the head, arm, ribs and spine. Coma for about 6 months , able to walk only the last 5 months, and still undergoing strength building treatments. I can walk as per normal now and almost as 100 % but I still feel my arms are not that strong due to the injuries.
I apologize for not being to tell any of my dear friends here. I hope I am still accepted (even with Trumps new laws hehe)

My KLX 300 was total lost and so were most of camping items in the backpack. The wife just gave greenlight for me to start all over again.
I had to sell a lot of stuffs, 2 of my cars, another bike to foot the accessed medical bills.

    Great to be back!

I really missed all of you.

You mean you couldn't maintain your forum presence while in a coma? C'mon, I bet if you really tried....

Okay, okay. Sorry to hear about your troubles, glad to hear you're pulling through! Something like that could ruin a lesser man, great to see you rising above it! I've witnessed two motorcycle accidents (one involving a deer), they are not pretty.
There ain't too many problems you can't fix with $500 or a 30-06.

One of the problems with the world wide internet is that we can lose one of our members and all we ever know is that they are just GONE!

We thought you had just gone to the woods and stayed there.

    We missed you Tokwan.
    Folks asked about you.
We speculated about your ability to take on several woodcraft challenges that faced us.
Not everyone from the other side of the world fits in here, you do. Crap, not everyone from here fits in here!

As for the accident, it does not surprise me. I have watched many documentaries from your area and I do not see how anyone survives driving your roads in anything short of a tank.

I hope your recovery progresses. Do not try too much while working your way to normalcy.

We all missed you. You were mentioned several times when we would ask about missing members. Most thought you were working on your book and putting in some good field time. Sorry you went through all of that but glad you are still with us!

Thank you, thank you and thank you all, I really felt like coming back to a second home.....actually, there is a small titanium plate on the right rear corner of my head.
They all were saying I would not recover quickly as I did and would not remember most of the past. Actually, initially I did forget a lot of things, but for the last 1and half months, things started to come back to me.
I just got back from Kuala Lumpur just now.
I actually forgot my user name and password to this forum. Heck, I just remembered this forum started with the word wilderness....so I searched a few times and found it.
However, I did not forget how to make fire and some survival things, I'm really surprised.

Well the family decided no more bikes for me..that's about it they said....
