That is because his woman and the dog are not standing on their heads and on their hands and knees cooking and tending the fire.

Gosh Rondys are fun! 10 or 20 or 200 campers all in one spot with food so good you want to slap your mama and candle lanterns lighting the woods and campfires burning.

Makes me want to go outside and build a fire!

I caught my wife sitting in the middle of a pile of rondy clothes just smelling the wood smoke one February evening long ago. She would get antsy about this time of year so I would have to catch a warm weekend, load her in the car for a woods trip and air her out.

I am getting antsy as well....when the vid of these trips show up.....make me want to get out there, but maybe not near as much as in the past.

Haven't done a "Frozen butt Shoot and Rondy in 25 years.....but still remember how cold cooking sleeping.... and a pita it was to shoot....well maybe not shoot so much as reloading.

Then imagine all those trappers that worked the forsets, plains, the Rockies for beaver and other hides, miners, loggers....and they couldn't go home Sunday afternoon...take a hot shower and order out.

Would show up at a Monday Morning Staff meeting...Big Boss says..."I smell something burning?"
    Yeah, that would be me......LOL

I get highly Highly antsy... I simply have to get out at least every 2nd month of the year..
Only decided some time last year to start making videos of my trips.
Most of them are practicing survival and bush-craft techniques with quiet wild camping, or building shelters.

I hope to provide some more outings as well as other smaller vids, possibly focusing more in-depth with things unique to Southern Africa.
