I'm actually closer to Seattle than I am to Russia, or Anchorage for that matter. But yes...that's why.
There ain't too many problems you can't fix with $500 or a 30-06.

"Colonel, we have red flags all over the board."
    "What have you got?"
"Talk of 'milk crates' and illegal activity."
"Milk crates. Hmm. Milk is white. Crate must be another term for kilo. Looks like a major drug gang."
"Shall I call an NSA Code Red?"
    "Roger that."

That explains all the unusual black aircraft overhead lately.

About every two weeks they run a $4.99 shipping deal so leave them in the cart and keep checking now and them about the cut rate shipping.

So, what's next, five gallon buckets? They don't handle propane tanks like a box but dang. They're handy too.

How should I go about returning it?

I'm sure the owners of it have been missing it in the 10+ years it took to get here.

Looks like you could make nice fish traps out of them, the little fish would just swim out and the big ones would be trapped. Might have to fashion a funnel on the top!
We could use those bullet worms for bait

The words beach combing and snow should never, ever go together. That's just wrong.

On a side note....when the Westchester Smut and Hunting Club would go duck hunting with a new member.....

There was always one little yellow rubber duckie in the decoy bag...(w/weighted string).....
We would put it out in the dark, with the rest of the decoys.........then wait till the sun came up...to see the look on the "new guys" face...when or IF they noticed the duckie.

Some never even seen it floating out there.....LOL

There was a tennis shoe culture several years ago. A container shipment of shoes popped open and someone might find a left 9E and a right 13D and link up with someone who needed that side and that size.

    From 2001:

A whole lot better than feet washing up on the beach I guess.

Yeah I've actually found several of those years ago. I find quite a few shoes even now. I once even found a matching pair, I saw one side on a beach, and three beaches down saw the match. I actually went back to get the first one. Too bad they were size 8, way too small for me.

    I've also found...

    Bowling ball
    Coconut
    Countless toothbrushes
Can of Japanese xylitol gum, still half full
    Half a d!ldo
    Full can of gas
    Propane tank
    Several life jackets
Real estate sign from a town almost 2,000 miles away
Ocean currents monitor (had a toll free number engraved on it. When I called it I was told it had been set adrift off California 6 years before. They sent me a prepaid box to mail it back to them)
    And...yes...a note in a bottle.

I could probably start a new thread on goodies I've beachcombed.
