Default A British Guy in Switzerland

Hail & Welcome one n all!
I'm a British guy living in Switzerland, I have been here for 20 years.
I was raised in the West Sussex countryside in the UK, keen scouting & survival enthusiast since my teenage years.
Travelled the world working in the Deserts of Dubai to the Jungles of Brazil.
Now i'm running basic survival skills courses here & recently started a YT channel.
I look forward to a healthy exchange & conversation.

    Take care
    Stay safe

    Simon

Welcome from Alaska. What profession took you to such a wide variety of places?
Why do I live in Alaska? Because I can.

Another welcome from Alaska. I spent two weeks in Switzerland back in '05, really enjoyed the beautiful country and friendly people. I also stocked up on Victorinox...
There ain't too many problems you can't fix with $500 or a 30-06.

Him-"Whats the best knife for survival?"
Me-"the one that's in your pocket."
Him-"I don't have one in my pocket."
    Me-"Exactly."

Does anyone else here find this introduction vaguely familiar?

I think this person has been here in the past, which might not be a bad thing, just a case of lost user name and password over the years.

But then there are thousands of British X-pats in Switzerland so it might not be that unusual, except for the wide range of career endeavors.

    Welcome to the forum.

I don't think so ... but correct me if I'm wrong.
I work for a rather well known musician as part of the production team ...

Probably someone else. It would have been from years back.

    Welcome to the forum anyway.
