    Default X-mas Nut cracking.

Baby Boats was at the house today, for desert I pulled out the bag of nut's as Tradition has it under this roof. We where cracking away with the cracking tool when she tossed out the challenge.
Grandpa used to crack a Brazilian nut with just his hand.
No, Grandpa used to use two Brazilian nuts he just didn't let you know.

One thing lead to another and the Old Frogman now depleted of any strength in his thumbs still proved to Baby Boats that every nut other than the Brazilian nut could be cracked with just one's hands.

So as a survival tip, take two of any nuts and use one to crack the other with nothing more than the strength of your grip.

About the challenge, just crack a lone Brazilian with only your hands. (I'll be waiting for the video)

As to the tale of a young southern sailor and Brazilian nuts, perhaps it belongs in times long past.
Set the nutcracker aside and teach the Grandkids to use 2 nuts to reach the tootsie roll center, if they ever have to revert back to nut gathering they shall Thank You. JMHO.

My Grandpa used to pull a quarter out of my ear.......still haven't figured that out.

Any way still use that on peanuts, pecans, walnuts acorns....never tried brazil nuts.
Only eat nut sparingly...bad for gout.

I had an Uncle that used to twist his ear and pull out his teeth, had allot of red eared nephews.
Seems his secret dissipated the day that one of his nephews found his teeth in a case in the bathroom.

Some day we should string up the Doctors for all the childhood remembrances they force us to give up in the "Golden Years"! LOL

A hammer works too, just sayin. So does a rock or a stick.

Anything you can grab hold of that can smash will work. But you can usually just use another nut.

I'll never forget my Grandpa doing that to me the first time. First I couldn't believe he farted and second pulling his finger made him do it. I pulled my finger for days to no avail.

It's all in how you hold your lips. You can pull my finger and I'll show you.
