Sunny and 70 with a slight wind right now.

Tomorrow is supposed to be high of 45 with winter mix and brisk wind all day.

We got the same storm yesterday. First snow of the year. We need a whole lot more moisture though.

    Correction!

It just hit 78 degrees here (probably a record high for this area) and I am beginning to regret shutting down the AC for the year!

When the expected cold front moves through I would not be surprised if we do not have a tornado due to the extreme temp differential.

We are a little north of you Hunter and it hit 71F today but then the winds kicked up and we are downto 54F; almost 20 degree drop in 1.75 hours!

Winds near us gusting 45-50 mph according to the NWS and sustained at 30-33mph. Pretty crazy.

Yeah, I'm currently in eastern MN and we got pummeled by the storm. Snow blowing sideways, looks like the interstate was closed for a while.

I have never seen such a well defined frontal system.

It arrived here about 1 am. I heard a low howl that lasted for 30 seconds getting louder and louder until it slammed into the house and shook the walls.

From then on it has been 40-50 mph gusts, rain and constantly falling temps.

No snow here, but the "endless summer" is officially over.

Was a dusting of white stuff... on the truck windshield this morning....wind still kicking along.
Most of the remaining leaves blown drown the street or blown in to piles.

I should be at "The Place" for opening morning of deer season (Didn't go this year)......that's closer to the Mississippi on the west side of the state.
Checked neighbors web cam....no snow there yet.

Snowing here in NE PA since about 5 pm, before that was mixed with rain, at 10:30 pm I measured 4-1/4 inches of snow. Late afternoon before the snow it got very windy from the storm from, it was gusting to 33 mph and steady at times up to 28 mph. I does look beautiful outside but with the freezing rain and them snow, the lights blinked at the house but 18 other people lost the power, probably due to a tree branch or tree on a power line.

PS if you buy an out of state license you can hunt for 2 weeks straight.

Front came thru here last night like someone flipped a switch for the rain to On. Steady downpour and 46° here. So much for the local Turkey Shoot at the range. I'm just going for lunch (venison chili, while it lasts. Yum!)
Yesterday was sunny and in the 60s, which is weird for November. I'm still picking lettuce in the garden. LOL. Wind hasn't picked up yet. That's supposed to start around 2pm today and go all night. No snow forecast. That's coming Thanksgiving weekend.

It's bow season for deer here. And you can bow hunt 10/17 to 11/26, shotgun 11/28 to 12/10 then bow or black powder 12/12 to 12/31. Trouble is finding a place to put a stand 150' from any road and 500' from any dwelling. Several of the land management areas are having special permit hunts too because in a lot of the forests there is no understory left due to too many deer. They've eaten everything up to where they can reach standing on hind legs.
