Aw, man, Rick! Why'd you haveta. I remember that. Cecil the Seasick Sea Serpent!
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.

Guy in our gym group....is in the cover band Do Wop Daddies....

    http://www.doo-wopdaddies.com/index2.htm

We were listening to a CD and he was singing along.

Some one said "man you are pretty good, you know all the words".
He says, "Yeah it my CD".....and we all thought he brought it in....

He leaves and one of the ladies....."What he meant was ....That's him singing in the CD'.......LOL
    Kinda cool....

Seems the sound track of our lives is on the oldies radio stations.......sox hop music turns in to work out music 50 years later.

Oh no. The soundtrack of our lives would include a six minute hacking session first thing in the morning follow by 1 minute of flatulence followed by the self proclaimed humorous statement of, "That was ripe, Ah, roses, or the ever popular, "I just love the smell of methane in the morning."

I don't go near the pills until all the preliminaries are completed and I have had my first cup of coffee.

A sleepy guy in my med cabinet could hurt himself!
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

I take one pill for my memory but I only take a half a pill. There are some things I don't want to remember.

My 1968 10th grade U.S. history teacher was Frank Zappa's father, Mr Zappa said his son was a strange kid.

Frank Zappa was a very weird dude. Even for an artist.

I woke up this morning to find that the death of a singing legend from the 1980s was covering the news headlines.

I never heard of the guy, or the band he was with!

    Some George Michaels guy.

I could not tell you a single song he did.

I must be stuck on the oldies.

You wouldn't like his music. I refused to go to a concert of his with my wife which led to some cold days afterwards.

I call his music "Gay Pop".

The only thing the I can recall....is the arrest of a Pop musician in a LA toilet for "lewd conduct".
Can't say if I ever heard his music....my tastes don't get into that.

The fact the it made headlines just kinda of tells you how our Media views the worlds events....and considers important.
