Thread: South Florida Panthers.

    Default South Florida Panthers.

This is a video shot by a couple of biologists in western Hendry County. Y'all have seen my pics from there from Dinner Island in the Devil's Garden. This is just west of there. It was posted in a swamp walker post on facebook.

This is a link to a story about the video.

I love watching the video of the kitten leap.

On the list. Oh, yeah. Definitely on the list.

There are a couple of thoughts that went through my mind. First, the report had to say, "You want me to do a story on what?". Most likely shot across the street from the mall. That's where I would have been. Second, the biologist's window was down. I have to believe the real conversation was, "Up window, up. I command you!" Finally, although we can't see it because of the window frame, after the cat jumped the canal it turned and said, "Tada!"

If you get a sighting of the FL panther you are indeed a lucky fellow. They are almost supernatural in their ability to avoid human contact. You can feel their purring in your guts. Powerful creatures.
