Default Magnet fishing under 3 historical bridges

What a day of magnet fishing!
I went to 3 historical bridges with my magnet, one of which happened to be a covered bridge. Really got on top of some really old and really unique stuff at the last sight. Hope you enjoy.
This is a really underrated hobby.

Thanks for bringing us along .....
Having a tough time watching on a Hot Spot modem in the boonies.....so keep "buffering"....
Have to come back to it.

Anyway....did see some of the stuff....and was thinking about the boy walking around with that stuff on the bottom?

Spent some time walking the dry bottom of a local river bed and checking under bridges during a big drought back in the '80's....
Found a few arrows, from modern bow hunters,... several traps, pretty rusty.....and a safe under a bridge....was empty.
    No guns...good place to dump a weapon...right?

Now a side story....this bridge is about 1/2 mile off I-94....50 miles north of Chicago.
News story....body found in the river....just off that bridge.....was just sort of stuck there.

When the body was recovered, had cement blocks tied to the legs....
Every thing was stuck in 2ft of mud....water was only 1-1/2 ft. deep.

They figured it was a body dump for a mob hit form Chicago......they didn't know the water was that shallow....so didn't sink...just sorta stuck there.
    Pretty embarrassing.... I would think....

Looks like you were noodling for magnets in that first one. Interesting stuff. No telling what you might find plus you get some junk cleaned out of the river. That's always a good thing. I have two words for you. Tetanus shot. Thanks for taking us along.

It's really sad when a spammer posts a link that doesn't go anywhere. You almost feel sorry for them.....Almost. This it's a complete miss.

Most (all) of them are losers that are getting paid pennies per post. They are the scum that you scrape off your shoe.
