    Post Making My Cabin - The Floor

    Just a bit about the floor I made for my cabin retreat!

    Here's part one:



    I used 2x6s for the primary and secondary joists. Insulated the hell out of it, sheathed it in tar paper, then placed fine sheets of 4x8s on the top.

    This wasn't easy, especially as I had to get the sheets of plywood crafted to go around the logs...

    Good to see you back...been awhile......

    Looks like it worked......and looks solid....
    Your trimming out the support poles method..... is how I floored and walled up a lean-to on my shed......Lots of work.

    Any problems with mice?.....Maybe hardware cloth under the tar paper?
