Thread: Rule of Threes

    the rule of three has a different meaning to me. The rule of three to me is having three options, plan a,b and c. Having three knives would be a example of a rule of threes.
    so the definition of a criminal is someone who breaks the law and you want me to believe that somehow more laws make less criminals?

    in that case I have a rule of one when it comes to the wife. There are exceptions to every rule.

    I'm not sure that I'm thinking of the same rule of 3 that Y'all are. From my military experience the rule of 3 relates to system redundancy. One is none, Two is one, and three is the minimum required for planning purposes.

    That is not the rule of three we are specifying. The general survival rule of three is:

    three minutes without air
    three hours without shelter
    three days without water
    three weeks without food
    three months without human contact

    Violation of any of those tenants will have an adverse affect on your survival or recovery from an incident.

    Gotta be less than 3 minutes. At 3 seconds folks are looking around like the answer to why it isn't working is hanging in the air.
